Level 2 Security AnalystVisot
Visot is growing its Overwatch SIEM team, and we're looking for an L2 Security Analyst who enjoys digging into alerts, hunting down suspicious activity, and turning noise into clear answers.
🔍 What you'll do
• Monitor SIEM dashboards and triage alerts to judge severity and impact
• Investigate incidents using established playbooks and escalate confirmed threats to L3
• Analyse logs from endpoints, servers and network devices
• Spot IOCs and anomalous behaviour, and help tune SIEM rules to cut false positives
• Monitor EDR alerts and investigate suspicious processes and lateral movement
• Support threat hunting led by our L3 analysts
• Document investigations and help improve runbooks and SOPs
✅ What we're looking for
• 2–5 years in cybersecurity, ideally SOC operations or security monitoring
• Hands-on SIEM experience (Splunk, ELK, QRadar) plus exposure to EDR tools
• Solid grasp of networking, Windows/Linux and core security concepts
• Familiarity with log analysis and MITRE ATT&CK basics
• Scripting in Python, PowerShell or Bash is a plus
• Security+, CySA+, CEH or equivalent preferred
• Bachelor's in CS, IT, Cybersecurity or a related field
