🎯 The Strategic Scope:
• Platform Leadership: Set the multi-year engineering roadmap for enterprise-wide AI/ML platform capabilities.
• Cutting-Edge Stack: Kubernetes, service mesh, distributed GPU/TPU acceleration, Python/Go/Rust, Kafka, and multi-cloud services.
• GenAI at Scale: Industrialize LLM serving, retrieval-augmented workflows, model quantization, and privacy-preserving AI.
• Thought Leadership: Represent Trimble at premier global conferences, lead research initiatives, and mentor high-performing staff engineers.
Enterprise Platform Vision: Architect next-generation AI/ML infrastructure to serve thousands of models with sub-second latency and extreme fault tolerance.
• Advanced MLOps & Distributed Serving: Build automated hyperparameter tuning, model quantization, distributed inference engines, and federated learning frameworks.
• Foundation Model Infrastructure: Scale production serving pipelines for LLMs, multi-modal architectures, LoRA/QLoRA fine-tuning, and enterprise vector search.
• Observability & Zero Trust AI: Engineer real-time telemetry, model drift detection, automated anomaly remediation, and robust AI privacy controls.
• Technical Authority: Mentor staff engineers, establish global MLOps governance, and influence executive roadmap decisions.
