We ran our first hackathon at the GetCrux Bangalore office this weekend.
150+ applications in a week. 10 shortlisted. One day to build.
The problem statement was an agentic image editor that produces brand aligned creatives. It’s something we’re solving at GetCrux right now, so we wanted to see how others would attack it.
If you’ve tried generating an ad directly with nano banana or gpt-image, you know the issue. You get the vibe but not the brand. Fonts drift, colors are off, logos get mangled.
Our own take has been to copy a designer’s workflow. Give the agent the brand kit, a base model, and an image editor, then let it run in a loop: generate, review against brand rules, fix, repeat.
Seeing 10 different approaches to the same problem in a single day was the best part.
