Position: Regional Director – Government Affairs Location: Bengaluru At Zepto, we are looking for a seasoned Government Affairs professional to lead our Government Affairs mandate across South Region. This is a regional leadership role that requires the ability to build and manage strategic relationships with senior government officials, policymakers, regulators, law enforcement agencies and other key stakeholders, while ensuring a conducive operating environment for our business. What we’re looking for: * 15+ years of experience in Government Affairs, Government Relations, Public Policy or Corporate Affairs, preferably in e-commerce, technology, retail, logistics or other consumer-facing businesses. * Strong relationships and proven engagement experience with state governments, senior bureaucrats, political stakeholders, regulators and law enforcement agencies. * Experience in policy advocacy, regulatory affairs and navigating complex government and regulatory environments. * Ability to proactively identify regulatory and policy developments that could impact business operations and develop appropriate engagement strategies. * Proven experience in managing sensitive situations, government-related escalations, crisis management and business continuity. * Ability to work closely with internal teams across Legal, Operations, Compliance, Public Policy and Business to resolve ground-level challenges and enable business growth. * Experience in building strategic government partnerships and driving institutional engagement at the state and regional levels.
