Ever wanted to build a threat intelligence engine from a blank page, with the budget and freedom to choose your own tools? At IDrive, we’re looking for a Threat Intelligence & Detection Engineer to design and deliver our proprietary threat data feeds and EDR detection rules from scratch. Your work will protect millions of users. What you’ll do: 🔹 Build automated research pipelines (crawlers, honeypots, OSINT collection) in Python/Go 🔹 Create a global file hash and URL/domain reputation engine 🔹 Write and tune YARA rules, Sigma rules and behavioral EDR detections 🔹 Analyze malware and scripts to extract actionable IoCs 🔹 Publish threat feeds in STIX 2.1 mapped to MITRE ATT&CK 🔹 Choose the licenses, cloud instances and reverse-engineering tools you need, fully funded by IDrive What we’re looking for: ✅ 5 to 8 years in Threat Intelligence, Malware Analysis, Threat Hunting, DFIR or Detection Engineering ✅ Strong Python and SQL (or Go/Bash) ✅ Hands-on with Ghidra, IDA Pro, x64dbg, Wireshark or sandboxes like Any.Run/Cuckoo ✅ Solid grasp of attacker TTPs and the MITRE ATT&CK matrix ✅ A builder mindset and the drive to work independently Good to have: honeypot experience, Elasticsearch/PostgreSQL/ClickHouse, GREM/GCTI/CTIA/CySA+/CEH 📍 Whitefield, Bengaluru (Hybrid) 💼 Full-time, Permanent Interested?
