jobs in the wild.

Icons Hindustan Aerospace & Defence Systems is building out our founding engineering leadership team, and we are looking for the right person to lead it. This is a hands-on leadership role! You’ll own the system architecture for our RF jammer and microwave platforms (built through our Transfer of Technology partnership with Global partners and our High Power Microwave demonstrator being developed with Indian technology partners. You’ll personally recruit/ lead a 10 to 15 person engineering team from the ground up, and you’ll be the technical driver behind indigenising global technology stack for Indian manufacturing. What I’m looking for: 15+ years in defence, aerospace or RF/microwave systems design, with real engineering leadership experience, not just individual technical depth. Someone who has built a team before, not only managed one that already existed. And someone who wants to be hands-on with partners and on the bench, not purely in a boardroom. Based in Gurgaon, with travel to our UP Defence Corridor facility and partner sites. If you’ve spent your career in RF, microwave or counter-UAS systems and you’re ready to build something from the ground up rather than maintain something already built, send me an email at Bharat.salhotra@icons.co.in Please reach out or share with someone who fits. #DefenceTech #MakeInIndia #CounterUAS #RFEngineering #Hiring #AerospaceEngineering #ElectronicWarfare
